UK based quartet Salt River Shakedown are larger than life, and armed with an explosive sound best served through some hi-tech speakers. “Honey” is their latest release, and its equipped with adrenaline packed instrumentation. Already reaching over 5,000 streams on Spotify alone, making it their most popular track to date, its no surprise that ‘Honey’ has been well-received. A sort of DIY approach to the writing, recording and production, guitarist Alek McMillan recorded and produced the track himself.
“Honey” is an electrifying number that features heavy riffs that take centre stage. Bathed in a grunge-like sound, the ear-worm chorus steals the show. Fast-paced and sounding like the lovechild of Rival Sons and Foo Fighters, ‘Honey’ will easily leave you wanting more.
