Jim Jam – Work

South-East London based solo project Jim Jam’s ‘Work’ is the second instalment of new music released this year. Recently releasing new release ‘Big Bad World’, Jim Jam’s tracks are consistent and thorough. Released August 28th, ‘Work’ sees JimJam team up with producer and session musician Ben Scott (who has worked with Ed Sheeran, Rae Morris, Tom Walker, Bülow).

‘Work’ was written as an escapism from every day struggles, Jim Jam adds, “I think we can all relate to the strains of falling into line against our will and feeling trapped by voices around us. This song aims to encapsulate those negative feelings and turn them into a winning battle where our minds are able to transport us away into our own worlds.

‘Work’ features a lo-fi production with a subtle indie-psychedelia core to it’s arrangement. A track that features some of the most stunning textures you’ll hear in a long time.
