It’s a fact, people grow apart, but people won’t be moving away from Lily Hain’s discography. An effortless artist that oozes star quality, Lily Hain consistently brings something new to the table with each release. Released at the end of July, Lily Hain’s new single ‘People Grow Apart’ is taken from her new EP ‘Drifted’, out today. Armed with delicate songwriting, an honest outlook into songwriting and warm vocals, the authentic new single is a rare pop song that doesn’t feel watered down.
Sharing her thoughts on the release, Lily Hain states, “People Grow Apart is about growing pains and missing old friends. I wrote it 5 months after I graduated from college and during the thick of the pandemic. I felt incredibly isolated from all my friends and started to miss people from my past that I was once really close with. It’s essentially an ode to anyone I was ever friends with, whether we grew apart slowly or if our friendship ended on poor terms.”
