“Loose Change” is the debut single from Australian artist Andrew Tudehope, aka the mind behind project Hotel. A track that uses dynamic guitars, out of this world synths, addictive hip hop rhythms, ‘Loose Change’ is a collaborative single with established hip-hop artists Billy Gunns on production and Obi ill, who’s featured on the track. Also featuring backing vocals from Nick Hutt (Johnny Hunter), “Loose Change” showcases Hotel’s eclectic influences.
On the release, Hotel mentions, “Loose Change is a track about coming to the realisation, that the eternal search for more is only holding one back from enjoying what is in front of them. The song is my anger towards the fact that I was intoxicated for so long by the aromas of riches placed in front of me by media, and society. Money has never made the person. Money is just another thing we are tricked into thinking we need. I wanted to enjoy the moment more and stop worrying about the future and subsequently missing the present.”
“Loose Change” dropped on December 4th of last year and has already accumulated over 73,000 streams on Spotify alone.
