Tori Cross teams up with singer-songwriter Katy Alex in new number ‘Beautiful Stranger‘. Written by both songwriters, the pop anthem was mixed by Lloyd Hinshelwood (Fleur East, Ben Haenow), and mastered by Edward Sokolowski (Fleur East).
On the release, Tori mentioned, “Lyrically, Beautiful Stranger tells the story of two women dating the same guy unknowingly and understanding his behaviour after discovering his deceits. The song does not lay the blame with ‘the other woman’, alternatively they band together to tell the boy that he will get his due. Beautiful Stranger is the perfect uplifting break up song. It’s about women supporting one another, and knowing your worth.“
Synth-pop with contemporary soul flavourings, ‘Beautiful Stranger’ is one of the best collaborations of the year.
