Lo-fi rock meets dream-pop duo Senator consist of long time friends and multi-instrumentalists Josh Pinkston and Gary Watson. Released at the beginning of this month, ‘Makingmoves’ is their debut single. Set to release another single sometime in August, the two-piece are working towards the release of their debut EP in September.

Senator mentioned, “Makingmoves explores self-reflection and how that affects people around you.”

Recorded solely in Josh & Gary’s bedroom, they then sent the recording to Wild Horse Studios for mixing and mastering. ‘Makingmoves’ uses a wide production bathed in exotic colours. Suited for your party and summer playlists, this contagious number kickstarts a bright future ahead for Senator.
