FloodHounds – Something Primeval

FloodHounds unveil their brand new, hard-hitting single ‘Something Primeval‘. As the result of a crowdfunding campagin that allowed the outfit to work with producer Thomas Mitchener (Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes), the energetic, dark-blues number is fused with punk sensibilities and layers of adrenaline.

“The song looks at our deeply buried primeval instincts, and
whether we should trust them more, keeping our eyes on the prize,
surviving and coming together to solve our problems. It’s great fun
to play live, it’s heavy but catchy, so people seem to really get on
board with it and get stuck in,”
says songwriter Jack Flynn.

Garage rock meets the youthful sound of indie rock, ‘Something Primeval’ finds itself breaking boundaries and welding flavourings of punk and swagger.
