Energetic band Tyrants are a youth outfit from the Black Country. Creating a diverse sound with their range of influences from British punk, classic rock, indie and even hip-hop in the mix, ‘Mouthful’ is their second single to date. 

“Mouthful” is a captivating single that blends fierce and attitude in all the right places. With ‘Aprons & Catnip’ hearing their energetic punk side, Mouthful features a heavy arrangement marked with guidance from the ever-growing rock sound. 

On the release, Tyrants stated, “The song follows a character that is the subject of criticism and scrutiny. They feel judged for the choices they make, as they are in the public eye, but persist anyway. This follows our approach to our music.”

A band that have become a big part of the West Midlands music scene, once the world has gone back to normal and it’s safe to do so, get yourself down to one of their lively shows.
