Leire – What We’ve Got

What we’ve got here is a songwriter destined for greatness, pardon the pun, but how could I have not said that? London based artist Leire dropped her debut single back in April, and it’s importance grows with each day. Her emotive vocals while busking in Leicester Square brought her to sharing the stage with Jake Bugg, Rag’n’Bone Man, Tom Walker and Travis to name a few.

Written about the current climate the world is experiencing, the relevance of this number is getting more significant. She says, “The situation that the world is experiencing at the moment will teach us the value of what we’ve got. It’s an honest, real song. Easy to listen to.”

Set to release her first EP later this year, ‘What We’ve Got’ is a blessing for fans across the globe. Fusing a subtle element of folk songwriting, the indie-pop number pulls at the heartstrings. A delicate single that turned a tough situation into something quite beautiful.
