MURMAN – Panama (Review)

MURMAN – Panama

MURMAN return with their fourth single ‘Panama’. Released March 20th, they released their music video for the indie rock number March 27th. Writing love songs about heartbreak, guilt, fetishism, sexual frustration and the absurdity of life, the trio consistently maintain their high energetic live performances through their studio recordings. Delivering timeless, emotion-driven soundscapes, MURMAN are one of those finds in lockdown that will drive you straight to listening to their full discography.

Panama is electrifying and showcases a power-trio storming straight to stardom. Set to release this at a single launch with FEET doing a special DJ set, unfortunately with the current situation with the world’s pandemic, this couldn’t happen. Nevertheless, still releasing the track to the world, the single is gaining popularity from across Europe. With moments of punk rock in the mix, usually the word Panama reminds me of that classic rock track from Van Halen, but now with the fresh face of MURMAN, that’s changed forever. A chaotic but authentic single that’s one of MURMAN’s best to date.

Score: 4/5
