We Three Kings – Gasoline (Review)

We Three Kings situate themselves in good old fashioned rock’n’roll. Based in Manchester, the trio blend a charismatic force of blues-rock into their songwriting. Riff-driven and heavy in their own right, the sit perfectly on a playlist alongside Royal Blood, Queens of the Stone Age, Rival Sons and The White Stripes to name a few. Known for their exceptional live shows, the band have also received support from BBC Introducing, Planet Rock Radio and Amazing Radio for past releases. Back with “Gasoline”, the track was recorded at Blueprint Studios in Salford with producer Gary Hadfield.

Released on Excess All Areas Records, “Gasoline” is a reminder of killer riffs that need to be turned up to 11. Holding onto a raw arrangement, the track feels vintage in a way that it highlights all the greats in one track. Smooth and with a whole lot of attitude, We Three Kings are set to play a couple of live shows in the weeks to come. They play Manchester Club Academy with Michael Monroe on 6th November. Then just over a week later, they play a headline show at EBGB’s in Liverpool. Make sure to catch these guys live, you won’t be disappointed.
