Beware of Darkness – Bloodlines (Review)

After a 3 year hiatus, Kyle Nicolaides aka Beware of Darkness returns with the exciting new single ‘Bloodlines’. Released October 11th via Bright Antenna Records, the infectious number gives an electrifying spark of what’s to come from the artist in the future. Recorded in LA at Kingsize Sound Labs with producer Braden Merrick, the track was also mixed by David Sardy (LCD Soundsystem, Nine Inch Nails, Rage Against The Machine). As well as the instrumentation from the artist himself, the track features a staggering line up of musicians. Guests include guitarist Jeff Schroeder (Smashing Pumpkins), bass player Mark Stoermer (The Killers) and drummer Jon Safley (CRX, Bleached).

Kyle explains, “Bloodlines” is a celebration of life for me. It’s the first time I’ve ever written, recorded, and released music without the burden or despair of depression and anxiety. I feel joy again and am thrilled to release this song and share more new music soon.” Intense and oozing with mindfulness, the irresistible sound explodes with energy all through your speakers of choice. About fighting uncertainty, ‘Bloodlines’ ushers in the rebirth of good old fashioned rock and roll.
