Micky James – Crybaby (Review)

New York’s glam rockstar Micky James returns with his second single of the year entitled “Crybaby”. Drawing influences from Brit-Rock legends David Bowie, The Clash and The Rolling Stones, the glam artist grits his way through the music industry with a pop style based at it’s core. With his main priority to create music that’s filled with honesty, passion and love, the realness in Micky’s music breathes life throughout each recording. Micky’s drawn to creating a fresh approach to the nostalgic genre by making timeless music that will live on forever.

“Crybaby” showcases fierce guitars, melodies that slide into tomorrow gently and an impressive vocal range. As for the subject, the track narrates being stuck in a toxic relationship. Micky shares, “Crybaby to me feels like my most rock’n’roll song yet. Like all good rock’n’roll songs, the message and the feeling get right to the point”. With a strong vision for his music, the future looks bright for this artist.
