The Waah-Kin Tribe – Mundane Mardy Life (Review)

Released August 30th, The Waah-Kin Tribe return with their second single “Mundane Mardy Life”. Hailing from Scunthorpe, the energetic trio blend an alternative outlook with indie rock. With comparisons to bands such as Arcade Fire and Scouting for Girls, the melodic band’s new track certainly uplifts any type of mood. After the success of their debut single, they’re set to release their own brand of alternative ‘bangers’ with an explosive live show for when you get to see them live.

With rhythmic verses influenced from the indie-pop movement of the 2000s, to the sing-along choruses ready for a stadium, “Mundane Mardy Life” can make the rainiest of days shine. An explosive number that’s a force to be reckoned with. A great second single from the trio, and a bright future is set in store if other tracks are similar to this. Ready for a bigger stage and a strong fanbase, this well could be the track that gets them to the top.

Score: 3.5/5
