Shropshire quintet The Bartells are certainly paving the way to becoming their counties go-to band. Straight off the mark from supporting legendary brit-pop outfit Cast, The Bartells are back with new release ‘Alibi’. An intriguing single that breathes personality throughout, ‘Alibi’ is certain to get stuck in your head and never leave.

Speaking about the electric new single, The Bartells explain, “It’s a big, bright, ballsy song that tells it like it is. The song tells a story about someone we can probably all relate to and “if you have a guilty conscience and think the song is about you… then maybe it is!”

Recorded at The Bee Barn Studios in Snowdonia, ‘Alibi’ is taken from The Bartells’ forthcoming, new EP. Recruiting a new member (who happens to be my uncle!) to add depth and a dynamic new sound to the band, The Bartells are going from strength to strength.
