An artist destined to be on your radar from here on out, Scottish born, London based artist Kirsty Grant returns with a bold statement in new single ‘Bad Boys, Good Girls’. Stating she’s clearly one to keep an eye out for, the relatable artist creates euphoric pop music with a polished production. Taken from her forthcoming debut EP ‘Chain Reaction’, the new release is the second single from the upcoming release.
With production from JULEZ and Ellis, the vibrant offering continues to build with confidence with each listen. Inspired by the likes of Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande, Kirsty’s pop-driven sounds have already reached over 1M streams on Spotify so far, despite only releasing her debut in 2019.Â
Speaking about the fascinating new release, Kirsty shares, “This song is such a special one to me. It was such a dream collaboration with some of my favourite people. The whole process was an incredible experience from start to finish. The song is about the realisation that you can’t change someone, and finally deciding to give up and focus on yourself and your own happiness. I love lines like “Now I don’t mess with cupid” as it summarises the songs meaning so well. It’s the typical story of thinking you can change a “bad boy” but it just inevitably ends in heartbreak.
When I listen to the song it makes me feel so empowered as it’s so upbeat and energetic, and has such a strong message behind it. It was written/recorded and produced during the lockdown in 2020. The track and the team behind it has brought me so much joy, I am so happy that it will finally be out for everyone to hear.”
