Interview with Hadar Adora

Powerhouse songwriter Hadar Adora stopped by to speak all things music with me. Hadar is an exceptional vocalist with layers of character and personality, and is certainly an artist you need to check out.

To anyone new to your music, name 3 words that best describe your sound.

My music is a mix of spicy, emotional & empowering. My purpose is to evoke emotion, whatever it is. I want to inspire confidence but also show it’s okay to be vulnerable at times.

If you could collaborate with anyone dead or alive, who would it be?

I could work with anyone not with us anymore it would be Michael, Prince, Kurt Cobain, Freddie Mercury, Janis Joplin, Aretha, Ella Fitzgerald. I’ll take any of them! I have a passion for music from before I was born. I connect with it on a deeper level and I feel connected to these artists. The artists that I’d love to work with now are Adele, Sia, Lizzo, Erykah, Doja Cat, HER, Ariana Grande. The women are taking over. Every single female artist today is beyond talented. There’s some new female artists I love as well like Kiana Lede & Rico Nasty, Ava Max, TayMoney- I could go on and on. I love women in music.

What’s the best advice you’d give to your younger self?

My advice to my younger self is this- Don’t be so hard on yourself. Enjoy the journey. That’s the whole point! Don’t forget to celebrate the small achievements. And to never ever make a decision based on a guy lol.

Give our listeners some music recommendations that we should check out!

I’ve been listening to a bunch of amazing music lately but my top 3 current artists I’ve been listening to are Doja, HER & Disclosure. I also love to study their music and break it down. These artists are insanely creative to me.

Tell MoggBlog viewers about your latest release! What’s the inspiration behind that?

My latest release off my upcoming project is called “Free Zone” I am so excited about this record because it has such an amazing meaning to it. The free zone is really your happy place, where you feel your most free. The place that brings you the most passion, joy or just the closest to your true self. The you that only you know.  It can be a mental, physical or emotional place. For me, the “Free Zone” is about dancing like no one is watching! I feel it when I’m by myself in my bedroom wearing my favorite big tshirt listening to music . Which is where I wrote this record that I love so much. I hope everyone that listens feels that “freedom” feeling when the beat drops !!
