Birmingham duo Beorma releases new single ‘Woman‘, taken from their debut EP ‘Virtual Emotionality’. “Woman” is soulfully driven and enters with a spacious soundscape ready to grab your full attention. Building up towards an upbeat synth-pop arrangement, the captivating single highlights important themes. Talking about their music and lyricism, Beorma mention, “our music ranges from spoken word tracks resembling the early works of The Streets to the synth fuelled Indie Pop sounds of The 1975. Although our sound is quite often classed as Pop, we address very dark and morbid themes such as depression, self medication and stalking in our lyrics; often disguised and masked by the upbeat and vibey sounds of our tracks.”
“Woman” coincides nicely with International Women’s Day and comes across as another empowering release from the two-piece. Recently teaming up with Indie Midlands for new management, the Birmingham music scene is truly incredible right now.
Out worldwide now, “Woman” is an important release that refuses to be pushed aside.
