Bahamian based singer-songwriter and visual artist Keeya’s ‘I Got You‘ is a soulful anthem and the first single from her debut EP ‘Paradise‘. Released September 25th, the EP was further released at the end of October 2020. Described by Keeya as a ‘love letter to myself’, the world needs more artists like Keeya. Explaining further about the leading single, Keeya says, “It’s about striving. It’s about how we take care of each other. If nobody else got us, we got us.”
Teaming up with producer Maestro The Baker (Rihanna, Jay1, J Hus, Tiggs Da Author), the sublime RnB track radiates well-needed positivity. Talking about the recording process of ‘I Got You’, Keeya mentioned, “I recorded my vocals in my tiny bathroom at home during lockdown. It was crazy and stressful and not something I was used to! Maestro came through and just took everything to the next level. He killed it.”
