Leeds based septet Mantis State cross through genres of funk, jazz, pop rock and beyond in latest single ‘Lost Without a Trace‘.

Mantis State says, “Our new track “Lost Without a Trace” is a funk inspired pop rock song, taking inspiration from Dirty Loops, Michael Jackson, Supertramp and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to name a few. It’s like a Pick ‘N’ Mix bag of all the band members favourite artists and genres.

Describing the track, the outfit also added, ‘The song mostly focuses on freedom of speech, and not feeling afraid to speak your mind.

Creating music without limitations, Mantis State is a band for everyone’s party playlist.
