APEX are an indie rock quintet based in St. Albans. Formed as a trio, APEX quickly transformed into a quintet after meeting at university. Drawing influence from the likes of Peace, Arctic Monkeys, Foals and even the pop arrangements that Paolo Nutini and Sam Fender, ‘Falling’ is a melodic number fusing infectious lyrics with vibrant guitar lines. Adapting to the new ‘normal’, the band have been releasing lots of content during the lockdown in the UK. 

APEX said that, “the lyrics give a good idea of the meaning, this is summarised briefly as: Falling for and with someone”

A youthful number that breathes energy, and longs for the new ‘normal’ to go away. APEX are an outfit aiming for the sky, and the aim looks pretty accurate.
