Released back in April, ‘Back Down’ is the first release of a list of singles from Paula Trikei’s debut album coming out way. The debut single is a mixture of pop meets electronica, and draws influence from artists such as Charlie Puth and Lost Frequencies. Recorded and produced in September 2019 with Artspace Barcelona recording studio, the track was produced by Robin Synth and mixed/mastered by Juan Carlos Santos..
On the single, Paula says, “Back Down is a song with a deep meaning. It talks about an upcoming breakup while giving a really energetic and good feeling with its upbeat music. It represents both sadness and happiness that can be found when being in a relationship. Anyone can feel represented (there are no genders involved).
Doing exactly what it says on the tin, ‘Back Down’ is an energetic piece of music that may feel relatable for many out there. Complimented with a simplistic yet engaging production, the single bathes in elevation.
