Suzie Stapleton – Blood on the Windscreen (Review)

Suzie Stapleton – Blood on the Windscreen

Sydney-born, Brighton-based alternative rock artist Suzie Stapleton relocated to the UK back in 2015. Since then, she’s built a loyal fanbase, captivated audiences with electric live performances and has gained support from BBC 6 Music, Absolute Radio, Amazing Radio and beyond. Back with the release of new single ‘Blood on the Windscreen’, the track is the second single from the songwriter’s highly anticipated debut album ‘We Are The Plague’, set to release in June via Cargo Records.

Produced by Suzie and mixed by award-winning engineer Dan Cox, the energetic piece of art is in a realm of itself.

On the Coronavirus outbreak and calling a run of shows in March, Suzie mentioned;  “These are strange times… Of course we were really looking forward to all of these shows, but it’s OK, it’s for the greater good. I’m going to make the most of self-isolation and use the time to be creative. I guess we wait and see what the summer brings. As long as there is WIFI in quarantine, I’ll get the album out there.”

A great single taken from an exciting upcoming album that I can’t wait to hear.
