Tunnel – Walking The Vine (Review)

Taken of their upcoming album due April 10th, “Walking The Vine” captures the darkness that comes with our own struggles. An experimental wonder that needs to be heard if you’re fans of Radiohead, Pink Floyd and Klaus to name a few. Bringing you up to speed, Tunnel are a progressive rock duo from Montreal. Creating innovative and a wide arrangement for a two piece, their latest single was created after band member Kevin accidentally triggered a synth loop and began to drum to it. ‘Walking The Vine’ is also Kevin’s vocal debut.

On the track, the duo mentioned; ‘This song is about the juxtaposition of a heavy relationship with the hope and learning that such an experience can teach you. Through realising that a relationship has its limits, you are able to move forward with those boundaries in mind.’

Detailing that the upcoming album is a documentation of the growth and expansion of their music, Tunnel have gained a fan in with their fascinating experimental approach to music. A wonderful release that hits close to home.
