Jack Blackman is a UK based singer-songwriter and guitarist. Recently teaming up with his own band, The Beautiful Wreck released their debut single “No Silver Lining” on the 30th of August. From an upcoming EP due for release in 2020, ‘Cold Trails’ will featured 4 new original tracks. Blending classic rock, americana and a swift brush of indie pop, the songwriting is simply mesmerising. 

From the get go, the maturity within the number and the chemistry of the band is spell-binding. “No Silver Lining” nudges towards bands such as The La’s and early The Rolling Stones. Blessing the arrangement with their own originality, the soulful vocal performance floats gently across the personal number. With elements of folk mixed into the track, the overall atmosphere is ethereal and somewhat dreamy. Hazy and transporting us back to happier times, it’s a fantastic string to the band’s ever growing bow.
