Los Angeles based alt rock outfit Raised on TV are back with new single βSoul on Fireβ. Comprised of two brothers and their high school friend, the trio fuse a high level of melodic rock with an indie-esque nature. Narrating the feeling of rediscovering oneβs self in the middle of the digital age, there’s a darker sense within it’s core.
Relatable and a feeling of shock, βSoul on Fireβ screams of truth. This is where I turn into a hypocrite for a few seconds and mention that weβre all glued to our phones to much. Taking over our lives, digital has itβs pros and cons. Pros being blog sites like this and sharing with a community, but the cons can get really dark. Raised on TV mention how we get stuck in the digital and forget whatβs actually real. The melody is contagious and is something that feels like a necessity. As an arrangement, the song flows beautifully in itβs on right. A simple but effective structure, the lyrics are a fistful of fierce.
