Elliot Lee – Upside Down (Review)

Based stateside in Brooklyn, Elliot Lee fuses an experimental approach to pop with an electronic based soundscape. With creating your own originality, I think it’s fair to say, we all are influenced by others to an extent. Musical influences for Elliot include Billie Eilish and Twenty One Pilots. Hear with her new single “Upside Down”, you won’t be feeling at the bottom of the pit with this alt-pop anthem.

The subject holds a strong momentum towards feeling like you’re at rock bottom and in a bad frame of mind. It’s an empowering number that has an uplifting spirit to it’s core. Layered with fast paced vocals, it’s shimmering production holds a magnetic attraction. If this is the first track you’ve heard of Elliot’s, I’m sure it won’t be the last. This alternative pop number is one to blossom your eardrums.

Score: 3.5/5
