Elliot Lee – Upside Down (Review)

Based stateside in Brooklyn, Elliot Lee fuses an experimental approach to pop with an electronic based soundscape. With creating your own originality, I think it’s fair to say, we all are influenced by others to an extent. Musical influences for Elliot include Billie Eilish and Twenty One Pilots. Hear with her new single β€œUpside Down”, you won’t be feeling at the bottom of the pit with this alt-pop anthem.

The subject holds a strong momentum towards feeling like you’re at rock bottom and in a bad frame of mind. It’s an empowering number that has an uplifting spirit to it’s core. Layered with fast paced vocals, it’s shimmering production holds a magnetic attraction. If this is the first track you’ve heard of Elliot’s, I’m sure it won’t be the last. This alternative pop number is one to blossom your eardrums.Β
