Back with their long-awaited third album ‘Somebody’s Hero Nobody’s Soldier‘, nine-piece urban dance collective The Moods are certainly turning heads. Released June 25th via A1M Records, the Manchester based project rebel against the usual Manc sound with their diverse hip-hop infused soundscapes. Lyrically compelling and taking on the likes of social media, immigrations, political greed and climate change, every song on the album is inspired by a candid view of modern society.
Embracing a fusion of multiple genres to create their signature sound, the album is eclectic but in the best way possible. Incredibly versatile and explaining there’s something for everyone, the album has the power to make you either hit the dance floor after months of waiting or leave you thinking.
