Newcastle-based psychedelic punk outfit Radio Silence releases infectious debut EP ‘Isolation‘. One of the most used words of the past year, ‘Isolation’ explores themes of our current, modern life as well as how alienating technology can be. The addictive EP features Radio Silence’s previous released output so far, as well as two previously unheard songs, ‘Repo Man’ and title track ‘Isolation’.
Detailing the pressure of society and especially the rapidly growing debt collection industry, the EP ties together an insecure subject with fast-paced instrumentation and iconic vocals. Showing off their distinctive, signature sound, this EP specialises in mainly a punk spotlight, whilst paying ode to 50s and 60s surf rock and good old fashioned rock and roll.
Gaining support from sites across the web and radio stations across the globe, ‘Isolation’ is a tasty EP that explains punk-rock will keep getting stronger.
