Impressive hip-hop artist And$um is certainly making waves in the New Zealand music scene. Back with latest anthem ‘Do It Like That’, the track dropped March 19th and was self-produced by with additional production from Will McGillivray. Sam Dunlay, aka the mind behind the project And$um, showcases how much talent he truly has in the reflective new single.
Sharing his thoughts on the recording process and what the track’s about, Sam mentions, “I found this great vocal sample and just had the idea to create something funky. I was having so much fun producing the track and I just wanted the lyrics to reflect that. It’s a carefree track about just wanting to do your own thing, and not let distractions get in the way of your life.”
“Do It Like That” follows in the footsteps of previous singles and debut album ‘And$um Volume 1’, and secures another stand out moment in And$um’s blossoming career.
