Manchester based producer Jazz Purple teams up for an excellent collaboration with Laura White & Bipolar Sunshine in latest release ‘One Night’. Released January 29th, the alternative pop jam is radio-friendly bop that’s destined to become a household name. While the track’s message pay homages to cult classic movie ‘Romeo and Juliet’ – yes, the one with Leonardo Dicaprio – lyrically, the track weaves through romantic metaphors but more modernises.
Speaking on the story, Jazz explains, “Imagine a Montague Prince and a Capulet Princess on there pursuit for love in 2021. Two lovers describing the urgency to see each other just for one night, longing for each other’s hold and touch. I think we’ve all been there?”
Crossing different genres from the likes of RnB, Rap, Pop and Indie, this distinctive single has a DIY feel that’s identifiable. Not fully polished and making it sound robotic, ‘One Night’ captures vibrance from each artist and comes across engaging. As for the lyric video, the eye-catching visuals are simply captivating and retro.
