Grizzly Bird – The Drummer’s Trauma

Berlin based indie-folk rock trio Grizzly Bird are the talk of the town in latest single ‘The Drummer’s Trauma‘. Released December 4th on ‘The Famous Gold Watch Records’, the track was inspired by drummer Florian Dietrich’s thoughts on working in a drum department in a music store in Berlin. Armed with a music video where vocalist Hans Gnendinger gets spooked by mad drummers, there’s elements of dark comedy with the humorous video.

Written during Berlin’s lockdown and recorded in just two days by producer Cameron James Laing, the track is the first song from Grizzly Bird’s upcoming EP ‘Somewhere Between’, which is to be released spring 2021.

On the upcoming EP, singer Hans mentioned, “whereas the last album Empathy was really eclectic, I think these songs really come to the core of what Grizzly Bird sounds like.”

“The Drummer’s Trauma” is out worldwide now and serves as a splendid slice from the upcoming EP.
