An artist that I’ve been personally following for a while now, Runrummer is an exciting electro-pop songwriter with flavour. Getting the recognition she truly deserves, the artist was featured on BBC Radio 1’s Virtual Big Weekend last year. Taking her music to the next level, the artist teams up with talented producer Tommy Goes Harderrr on his debut release. A previous release from Runrummer, ‘I Like Getting High (But Not All The Time)’ is known for being a dancefloor hit armed with consistency.
A remix that’s just under 8 minutes long, it may be a lengthy track, but this journey through electronica takes control and owns the stage. Reflecting a conversation about the modern musician and distorted ideas of success, the fascinating remix from Tommy Goes Harderrr is a downtempo house track that still accompanies the original’s earworm chorus.
Set to be releasing a music video next Monday, keep an eye out on Runrummer’s socials for that drop.
