Melbourne based indie-pop duo Ironess follows in the footsteps of their successful debut with new single ‘Comfortable‘. An R&B, carefree new release from Ironess, ‘Comfortable’ features a neo-soul arrangement, and heartfelt vocals. On their release, Ironess explain, “Sometimes in a relationship, one person can outgrow or change and can end up at a crossroads trying to figure out what life looks like away from the sameness and comfort that a relationship can provide. We didn’t want Comfortable to be a one-sided story, because in the end it takes two to tango. This song digs deep into the emotions which sometimes you’re afraid to let out because you don’t want to hurt the other person’s feelings.”
“Comfortable” is a cross-genre single that features soul and pop branches. Teaming up with producer Mark D’Angelo (D’Arcy Spiller), the R&B inspired melody is transcending and polished. Ironess will be releasing their EP later this year, and it’s destined to become their best work yet.
