Melbourne based busker Tanya George releases title track ‘Normality‘ for her upcoming EP. Engineered by Jimmy Alexander (Awaken I Am), ‘Normality’ was written and created by Tanya using her unique vocal looping techniques.
“The single is about questioning what is normality? What is the normal anymore in society, in our lives? What is a normal life? Am I normal? What is normal?,” George explains. “The song means a lot to me because I feel like we have a lot of pressure on being perfect and being normal which suppresses us personally or creatively or maybe blocks out potential for bigger ideas or dreams we have in life.”
‘Normality’ is a radiant indie pop track with acapella elements. Based around bouncy looped vocals, the mesmerising track showcases Tanya’s iconic octave range.
