Released at the beginning of May, Lucy Aggett’s stunning folk-pop track “Told Me” will pull at your heartstrings with it’s warming message. Based in North London, the alt-folk singer-songwriter draws inspiration from her surroundings and the people close to her heart.

On the release, the songwriter mentioned, “Told Me is a song about the desire for honesty and deep connections, as opposed to meaningless interactions.“

Working with producer Jack Arrowsmith on the record, Lucy’s mesmerising vocals are complimented with a surreal soundscape of synths, drums and electric guitar. Folk music with a twist, this contemporary songstress uses a haunting sound to capture listeners in the palm of her hand.
