SOHLER – Computer (Review)

British Romanian outfit SOHLER are based in the West Midlands. Storming onto the scene with their debut single ‘Computer’, the fierce track combines alternative rock, hard rock and indie rock into a juicy cocktail of attitude. Drawing influences from across the park, the band draw inspiration from the likes of Arcane Roots, Biffy Clyro, Muse, Radiohead, Tool and Roger Waters to name a few.

On the release, the band mentioned, ‘Computer is about degradation of the individual. To be worn down and taught through experience that emotions just open you up to pain and disappointment, pushing them and other people away until only the basest humanity remains.’

Due to release their debut EP at some point this year, SOHLER are proving their ones to watch within the Midlands music scene. What makes ‘Computer’ that even more special is it features fragrances of different genres, making it a track for everyone.
