Hunger Moon – Patience (Review)

Hunger Moon – Patience

Captivating Birmingham based duo Hunger Moon unleash new single ‘Patience’ into the wild. Formed over a mutual infatuation with the late Jeff Buckley (my kind of people!), the duo have drawn likeness to London Grammar, Daughter and Oh Wonder.

“Patience” is a melancholy pop number that tells the story of the internal battle songwriter Natalie faced to leave a relationship that was already over in her mind. Natalie explains, “I knew things needed to change, but I didn’t anticipate the level of change to come. I didn’t want to cause hurt, but had to learn to accept that I couldn’t become the right person. I had to have patience with myself and recognise that what I wanted was not mutual”.

A wonderful piece that feels ready for a silver screen. If this track doesn’t end up getting the duo to the charts, we’re doomed.
