Jeremy Elliot – The Deep End (Review)

LA-based songwriter Jeremy Elliot is here with his debut single “The Deep End”. After years of building a repetitoire of songwriting skills, Jeremy Elliot met Jason ‘Poo Bear’ Boyd who lead Jeremy to write songs for Justin Bieber, Matt Nathanson and Trey Songz. Earning Elliot a GRAMMY nomination for Bieber’s album ‘Purpose’, Jeremy guided his way through with producers as he prepared for his debut project. In support of the new single, Jeremy has announced a show in Washington, DC on 10th October (Silence the Violence Benefit w/ Katy Perry, Norah Jones, Mavis Staples). Also, a headlining free show at Rockwood Music Hall on 15th October showcases there’s no stopping this songwriter.

“The Deep End” is a track about taking a chance and jumping right in. It’s about how one second can change your whole life forever. Taking risks and taking opportunities that arise is always tricky, but the comforting sound of this track showcases how important it truly is. Step out of your comfort zone and do something different. Nudging towards anthem bands such as Kings of Leon and Imagine Dragons, the songwriter sets standards high in The Deep End.
