Lena Leon ft Andy Tongren – Walls (Review)

Platinum-selling songwriter Lena Leon returns with “Walls”. Featuring Andy Tongren (Young Rising Sons), the duo blend a contrasting balance of harmony with their vocals. Breaking down the walls of the track, the single highlights a compassionate amount of powerful percussion and a vibrant coloured soundscape. Uplifting the atmosphere with it’s happy aura, the arrangement gives the heartache song a new smile.

“Walls” tells the story of creating a relationship with someone and how quickly it can collapse too. Lyrically, it tells the story of two people packing their bags and moving out of their home. Portraying this perfectly through emotional vocals, the production holds a motivational empire that feels that there’s hope for the future, maybe not for the couple, but for each individual. What will be will be at the end of the day, and this song perfectly narrates that. Ready for what awaits in the future, I hope that Lena and Andy collab again because they’ve got pure chemistry.
