Two exceptional artists for you to get your ears around today. Both residing in a gorgeous electronic soundscape, these tunes will get you dancing around your room in no time.
PERDURABO – CAST STONES
When the sun’s out, the first genre I go to is electronic. Hands down. Today is Perdurabo’s lucky day. The first time I heard this song, I got instant shivers down my spine. The production is ethereal yet channels a poignant commentary. Perdurabo is the moniker of classically trained multi-instrumentalist, electronic music producer, and composer Davide Arneodo. Living between Berlin and Turin, Davide has worked both in the studio and live with some of the biggest names in electronic and rock music, including one of my favourite groups Placebo.
Taken from his upcoming debut album, ‘Cast Stones’ challenges to confront tough situations. It’s a song that stands upright to its truth. Sharing the complexities of being a human, the song feels more relatable every time you stick it out. Thought-provoking yet still able to leave you feeling calm, there’s a true balance in this song that makes it a pleasure to listen to. A 5-minute adventure through distinctive dynamics, the track weaves through volume yet still keeps listeners on the edge of their seats.
Swirling synths coated with an experimental arrangement? What’s not to like?

SEE HOW – BEAUTIFUL DREAMER
Easily one of my favourite producers around at the moment, See How specialises in making people dance with his music. Another cinematic future house track for you to enjoy, “Beautiful Dreamer” a sample-based track that manages to capture the house sensibilities of Fred again.. and Cassius. Euphoric and a pleasure to listen to, you can picture drinking a cocktail next to a pool while the song blasts in your headphones.
“Beautiful Dreamer is like the sound of sunrise, or the pull of the sea” says See How. “Where Can’t Be Me was full of attitude, and Do It was full of energy, I wanted Beautiful Dreamer to showcase a different side to my sound – something bigger, more cinematic”. Continuing the summer vibes with his authentic music, you could see this artist’s name in lights at the biggest dance festivals in the world this time next year. If his music is anything to go by, there’s something special on the horizon. Musically, the track is adventurous in its arrangement. The beats are progressive yet still could appeal to a commercial audience.
This genre-blending artist just keeps on exceeding my expectations, if that’s even possible anymore!
