Emerging artist Emma Edel has been on my radar for a number of years and consistently grows with each release. ‘Hitting On The Snooze’ Emma Edel’s long awaited next single brings a fresh sound and approach to her music. The Pop Rock type track boosts energetic guitars, real sounding drums and punchy confident vocals. It marks a new sound in Emma’s catalogue.
The song explores the longing for something to work out and the mental turmoil you experience while waiting. It’s the desire for a situation to play out how you had wished and deep down hoping it is worth the wait. Produced by Alex O’ Keeffe, who has produced Emma’s three previous singles, the song was crafted over two days in May.
Speaking about her new release, Emma shares: “I brought a very basic demo to Alex and he worked his production magic to bring my song to life. He always understands the sound you are going for and I love the direction my new music is going in.’
