Swedish singer-songwriter Sinnah is best described as a ‘bubbly fizzly ball of energy’. Back with an exceptional new release ‘Exist Loud’, the single is the title track of her new EP – out the same day. Her sound exudes the kind of spontaneous confidence we’ve seen in artists like Tove Styrke, with a bit of the Scandinavian simplicity and genuine approach to music we know from Maja Francis or Pauline Skott.
To anyone new to your music, name 3 words that best describe your sound.
Quirky, sassy and fun!
What’s the best advice you’d give to your younger self?
Don´t wait around for a guy who can´t make up his mind – he´s NOT worth it!! If it´s meant to be it will be.
Do you prefer performing live or recording, and why?
What I love with the studio is that you get as many takes as you want. But nothing beats the energy that you get live on stage.
Who are your main musical influences and why?
My biggest inspirations are Julia Michaels, Taylor Swift and Zara Larsson. I love their sound and the stories in their lyrics.
Tell MoggBlog viewers about your latest release! What’s the inspiration behind that?
I wrote” Exist Loud” after a breakup. I had been a bit down and I wanted to take control over my life and feel good about myself again. I was tired of people trying to tell me what to do and how to think so I just wrote about living the life I want, and it also turned out as a reminder of how you should always be yourself. You don´t have to fit in and you don´t have to do what everyone else is doing. If you want to have a big size – order a big size. There will always be haters, but you don´t have to care.
