Interview with Abram Dark

‘Moments Are Taped’ is taken from Abram Dark’s new, five-track debut EP. Created as a way to help a trauma patient accept and heal from life-changing experiences, Abram Dark embodies rugged sincerity

To anyone new to your music, name 3 words that best describe your sound.

Sincerity, simplicity, feeling

Do you prefer performing live or recording, and why?

To me, performing live and recording go hand in hand. There are more internal emotions, feelings and caged uncertainty when creating something new for the first time. When you are performing, you have the opportunity to let your creation run and take you on a journey.

Tell MoggBlog viewers about your latest release! What’s the inspiration behind that?

The inspiration behind this EP release is trying to understand and embrace the harder days.

Give our listeners some music recommendations that we should check out!

“Te’Amir” Album: “Abyssinia & Abyssinia Rise”

“Prof. H”

“DAISY” EP: “S.O.M.E.”

What’s in store for you for the rest of the year?

I will be taking the year day by day. Possibly release some more music and continue to keep learning in this broken but beautiful world.

Self produced, ‘Moments Are Taped’ is a gorgeous dark, indie soul track with melancholic fragrances throughout. A track you don’t want to skip at any point in its length, Abram has certainly created an emotionally provoking piece of art that can be felt.
