Interview with Rammor

Deep house meets pop producer and DJ Rammor releases uplifting dance anthem ‘Forget About You’. The shining star stopped by to chat about musical influences, what’s in store for the rest of the year and why Dua Lipa would be his dream collaboration.

To anyone new to your music, name 3 words that best describe your sound.

Summer, Upflifting, Nostalgic

Who are your main musical influences and why?

There are a bunch of artists, but I think especially Robin Schulz, Kygo and Lost Frequencies. Their music is deeply connected with summer in my brain, so I take a lot of influence of their style and try to catch that summer vibe in my own songs.

What would be your dream support gig? Bonus points for place/venue.

My dream opening would probably be for Kygo. He’s one of the biggest inspirations for me and it was always a dream of me to meet him, let alone play the opening for one of his shows! He recently played a show at red rocks, the atmosphere, the crowd, the vibe – everything was perfect so probably there 🙂

If you could collaborate with anyone dead or alive, who would it be?

My dream collaboration singer wise was always Dua Lipa. She just has such an awesome and unique voice which would fit perfectly with my current sound. So Dua if you’re reading this, hit me up!

What’s in store for you for the rest of the year?

I worked on a lot of music over the last couple of months, so I definitely still plan on releasing a lot of songs this year. Apart from the new music that’s coming your way, I finally have some (confirmed) live shows all over the world, as well as some live set recordings in crazy locations planned.
