Stoke on Trent based trio Saving Face are one of those bands that you find that instantly grabs your attention and never lets it go. Despite only being a band for a short amount of time, Saving Face are riff-heavy and loud, what else could you want? Influenced by the likes of Royal Blood and Queens of the Stone Age, you can certainly hear these guys on the same line-up as their inspirations in years to come, and you heard it here first.
“Eyes On Me” is the latest single from the band, and may only be their second release to date, but it’s adventurous and their best track to date. Described by the band as being “a song with some serious attitude about it. A clapback at a world that all too often seems to go out of its way to pull you back down. This song is all about leading a movement. A movement to bravery with no boundaries.”
Following in the footsteps of their debut, ‘Eyes On Me’ is heavy and on the borderline of being metal past too. Somewhere between post-rock and hard-rock, Saving Face will surely become the new face of rock and roll, and my goodness, they deserve it too.
