Ishani’s ‘Unkind Vibrations’ was dropped back in April, and is certainly turning heads. Blending electro pop and trip-hop together to create her enchanting sound, Ishani draws influence from the likes of Massive Attack, Portishead, Morcheeba, DJ Shadow, DJ Krush and Hooverphonic to name a few. She’s recently released a stunning new single ‘Twin Flames’, but today, we’re diving into the universe of ‘Unkind Emotions’.

Ishani mentioned, “‘Unkind Vibrations’ refers to a world suffocating under the mass of excess content, fake news, social media obsessions and political uncertainty.” 

Featuring rapper Steezo, the track channels the 90’s hip hop era with flair and psychedelia. Stacked with hypnotic vocals and a grit-filled soundscape, ‘Unkind Vibrations’ is the first single off her upcoming EP, co-produced with Zaflon.
