The Jackobins – Pour Le Merite

The Jackobins return after a two year hiatus with their energetic new track ‘Pour Le Merite’.  Drawing influence from the likes of The Killers, Kasabian, The Stone Roses and The Verve to name a few, the indie outfit specialise in creating songs with a whole lot of meaning. Recorded and produced at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool by Alex Quinn, ‘Pour Le Merite’ features a stadium ready arrangement.

The Jackobins stated, “Its a true concept track with a number of themes such as toxic masculinity and militarism, which are reflected both in the track and the accompanying music video.”

Iconic vocals and instrumentation that’s impossible to ignore, ‘Pour Le Merite’ needs to be played loud.

Score: 3/5
