Anna’s Bones – Sow (Review)

Anna’s Bones are here with their debut single ‘Sow’. Recorded and produced at the legendary Bark Studios by Hatcham Social’s Toby Kidd, the first single is a refreshing look into a bright future for the London/Essex based trio. For fans of Metric, Bat for Lashes and School of Seven Bells, the song tells a story of transformation and new beginnings. Mixed with an uplifting mix of guitars, yearning vocals and melodic synthesisers, the haunting single has a nostalgic presence.

The recording took place in January over one day, so we didn’t have time to be precious which we really loved. We were really focused and there was a happy vibe in the air that day.

‘Sow’ is a breathtaking debut that illuminates a bright future for Anna’s Bones.
