Toronto based artist Alexander Saint re-emerges after a three year hiatus with latest adventure ‘What You Need‘. Following in the footsteps of successful single ‘The Light’, the soulful new single showcases a distinctive vocal from Alexander. No stranger to the industry, Alexander Saint has travelled the world as a professional bassist touring with artists such as Justin Timberlake and Ed Sheeran. Now taking centre stage in his own spotlight, the single features an experimental surfance with fantastic rhythms throughout.
On the release, Alexander Saint mentions, “This is a song I wrote about an ex, but I wanted to tell it through the lens of a B-horror movie. You’re stranded out at sea, lost to old throes of a lingering passion that keeps you tethered to a sinking boat, like the curse of a siren. The song is intentionally equal parts creepy and chaotic, the realization that the person I cared about doesn’t feel the same anymore, and isn’t coming back to save me.”
What You Need in your life is Alexander’s addictive music, it serves as a provider of goods.
